Dr. Patrick Agnew
Dr. Agnew has been a resident of Tidewater since 1979. After living in several parts of the United States, he decided that Tidewater was the best place to raise a family. He is happily married to his wife, Heidi, who is a lifetime resident of Tidewater and works for Coastal Podiatry Group as the surgery coordinator. Together, they enjoy raising and caring for their three children, Megan, Michael, and Matthew.

After completing pre-medical studies at Montgomery College and Old Dominion University, Dr. Agnew attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. This school is recognized for consistently demonstrating the highest board scores and residency appointments of the seven main schools of Podiatry.

The 4-year curriculum of this university parallels general medical schools for the first two years, then becomes specialized with the latest information on diagnosis and treatment of all disorders of the foot and leg. He earned four research awards and the clinical award for the highest degree of clinical proficiency in the class.

Dr. Agnew served a Podiatric Surgical Residency after completing medical school. This is the most competitive type of Podiatric residency. His residency director, Dr. James Ganley, was widely considered the world's leading authority in pediatric podiatry.

Dr. Agnew is a member in good standing of the following organizations: A fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the International Medical Advisory Panel of the Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association, the Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Society, and the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States. He is also a past president of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics.

He is a member of the adjunct faculty at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, and he is also the founder and director of the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of the Podiatric Surgery Residency. Through this residency program, he has trained many doctors in the Virginia Beach area. 

Dr. Agnew is the pediatric editor of the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association Footnotes newsletter. He is a manuscript reviewer for the journal of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, Military Medicine. Additionally, he is also the pediatrics section editor of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Agnew is a retired Captain of the Unites States Naval Reserve. He was decorated for service during Operation Desert Shield and served as active duty in the International War on Terror. His hobbies include surfing, Korean karate, scuba diving, skiing, and snowboarding.

Dr. Lynette Santiago 
As a doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Santiago is dedicated to offering the most comprehensive care possible to her patients with painful foot disorders.

Dr. Santiago was born and raised in Michigan, and she graduated from the University of Michigan in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology. She then moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated in the top third of her class in 2001; during this time, she was involved in student publications and research development concerning foot mechanics.

Her next endeavor included a podiatric primary medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital System under the supervision of some of the most prestigious foot and ankle physicians in the country; during her studies, she concentrated on the clinical application of treating various disorders of the foot.

She then went to the Baltimore area to complete a two-year podiatric surgical residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where she had specialized training in reconstruction of the forefoot. She also had the opportunity to work at the hospital's wound care center.

Dr. Santiago has lived in the Virginia Beach area since completing her extensive training in 2005.

She is happily married to her husband, Dr. Arteen Rassool, whom she met while in Podiatry School and who also has a private practice in Virginia Beach. Together, they enjoy raising and caring for their daughter, Ava. 

Dr. Santiago enjoys all aspects of podiatry, including conservative and surgical care of the foot, preventative diabetic foot care, sports-related injuries, and wound care. She is an active member of the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association, and she is also a board-qualified member of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Santiago has dedicated her life to her family, her profession, and her patients. She enjoys treating her patients with the highest level of compassion and respect.
